The National organization publishes the Outdoor America magazine and distributes quarterly to all members in good standing. The National organization also offers free newsletters, such as Outdoor Ethics and Environments for Life, which provide in-depth coverage of specific conservation issues.

General Membership Meetings

General meeting are held the first Friday of the month starting at 8:00 PM. Meetings usually last 90 minutes and provide an opportunity to share information about committee projects, upcoming events, and important issues affecting the Chapter. A guest speaker is also invited each month to provide entertainment for the membership.

Range Safety Training

All members interested in using the Chapter's shooting facilities are required to attend a Range Safety Training class. Classes are held each month an hour and a half before the general membership meeting. Range Officer training is available to all members who meet the standards set by the Range Safety Committee.

Volunteering

Each member is required to volunteer six hours per year in support of the Chapter. Many members find that once they get involved in a Chapter activity of interest the six hour commitment is met and many other hours of enjoyment are volunteered without question. If you cannot get involved to meet the six hour requirement, a donation can be made in lieu of the physical work.
