ROCKVILLE CHAPTER LEADERSHIP

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of the Chapter is to support the ideals of the National IWLA Organization to conserve, maintain, protect and/or restore the soil, air, woods, waters and wildlife of our country; to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to the resources and the enjoyment as well as the wholesome utilization thereof.
 
 

Vision Statement

To be a recognized, premier Chapter of the Izaak Walton league of America, Inc. and to support the protection and conservation ideals pertaining to the safe management of America's soils, air, woods, water, and wildlife.

Governing Body

The Chapter Officers and Board of Directors shall comprise the Board and collectively shall be the Governing Body of the Chapter. The Board will strive to provide Chapter members a safe and well maintained facility that offers opportunities to participate in conservation projects and to enjoy outdoor recreational activities.

Elections are held at the General Membership meeting in September and the installation ceremony takes place at the October meeting. Each year a set of Officers and four new Directors are elected by the general membership. The President is responsible for appointing all committee chairpersons.
